About Marley Irish
Marley is a self taught artist. She is a people person and enjoys capturing group performances at the ballet, opera and horseracing festivals. Well known for her pastels she now concentrates primarily in oils and acrylic medium to much critical acclaim. She uses strong vivid colour to depict the liveliness and movement in her subjects.

Marley is a regular exhibitor at Wexford Opera Festival, Kilkenny Arts Festival, The RDS Simmonscourt Dublin. She has also held solo exhibitions in Australia, USA, Philippines, Venice and Vienna. Her work is on permanent display at her own gallery and working studio at St Ives Gallery, Slieverue, Co.Kilkenny.
Being an avid fan of GAA, Marley has over the last few years concentrated her theme on the lively hurling, camogie and football sporting captions between the various County Teams. Michael O Muircheartaigh was presented with a painting of Marleys on the ocassion of his being presented with an Honary Docturate at Waterford Institute Of Technology 2011. Carriganore Sports Complex WIT Waterford hosts a permanent collection of Marleys hurling and camogie themed paintings.
